Seoul to turn purple in celebration of BTS’ 10th anniversary 

Seoul, the capital of South Korea, will turn purple in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the K-pop group BTS on June 13, 2023. The city’s iconic landmarks, including the Seoul Tower, the Gyeongbokgung Palace, and the N Seoul Tower, will be lit up in purple, the group’s signature color. 

Jungkook, Jimin, RM, J-Hope, V, Suga, and Jin, collectively known as BTS, have captured the hearts of millions worldwide with their music and performances. 

BTS, which stands for Bangtan Sonyeondan, or “Bulletproof Boy Scouts,” debuted in 2013 and has since become one of the most popular K-pop groups. The group has won numerous awards, including nominations at Grammy Awards for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance, and has sold over 30 million albums worldwide.
