Matt Navarra, a social media expert, made an intriguing observation when he tweeted, “TikTok creeping in on YouTube territory. I can now upload videos up to 10 minutes long.”
Navarra’s tweet also has instructions from TikTok regarding the upgrade, telling users to make sure they have the most recent version of the TikTok app before recording content that might last up to 10 minutes. “We are always thinking about new ways to bring value to our community and enrich the TikTok experience.” We are not sure whether we can now call it a short video-making app or not!
Dancing, lip-syncing, singing, comedy, and other forms of entertainment are all popular on TikTok. But video tutorials, which viewers may be able to watch in their entirety rather than in segments, are where the extra time comes in handy.
