Taylor Swift dominates MTV Europe Music Awards nominations with seven nodsĀ

Taylor Swift reigns supreme at this year’s MTV Europe Music Awards (EMAs) with seven nominations. The chart-topping “Shake It Off” singer has secured nods in several coveted categories, including Best Artist, Best Song, and Best Video for “Anti-Hero,” as well as Best Pop and Best Live for “The Eras Tour.”

Swift’s impressive nominations haul comes from her remarkable showing at MTV’s Video Music Awards (VMAs) in September, where the 33-year-old sensation claimed nine out of the eleven categories in which she was nominated. This feat tied the record for the most wins in a single night, solidifying her position as one of the top VMA winners.

Taylor Swift faces stiff competition at the EMAs, with Olivia Rodrigo and SZA closely following with six nominations each. These talented artists are also contending for the Best Artist title alongside Swift, Miley Cyrus, Nicki Minaj, and Doja Cat.

The Best Song category features a diverse lineup of nominees, including Doja Cat for “Paint the Town Red,” Jung Kook and Latto for “Seven,” Miley Cyrus with “Flowers,” Olivia Rodrigo for “Vampire,” SZA for “Kill Bill,” and Rema with Selena Gomez for “Calm Down.”

Mark your calendars for the 2023 MTV EMAs, scheduled for November 5th at Paris Nord Villepinte in France. Fans can cast their votes for their favorite artists on the MTV EMA website until October 31st.
