TEDxGateway, India’s largest platform for discussing ideas and challenging conventions, is ready to bring the TEDxGatewaySalon: Breaking Barriers 2022, an annual in-person conference. Scheduled on 18th November 2022 from 4 pm (IST) at NCPA Mumbai, the event brings together some of the world’s most exceptional voices across generations and their personal stories to inspire, ignite conversations, and uplift spirits.
TEDxGatewaySalon will spotlight prominent voices who have gone beyond conventional barriers. The one-of-a-kind gathering will create a tectonic shift in perceptions and prejudices with candid conversations from speakers such as Jessie Christiansen, a Planet Hunter from NASA; Seema Anand, a mythologist and storyteller; Aditi Mangaldas, renowned Kathak dancer; Jaya Row, a spiritual leader; Shweta Narayan, a global climate and health campaigner amongst others. The experience will be amplified with performances that will leave you spellbound.
From standing up against social injustice to helping humanity explore spaces to help women chart new roads confidently or spearheading science and mythology to creating an inclusive sports community, the event will see an eclectic list of speakers.
Commenting on TEDxGatewaySalon: Breaking Barriers, Yashraj Akashi, Senior Ambassador for the TEDx Program and the curator of TEDxGateway, said: “After hosting a series of events on–screen over the last two years, we are delighted to return with an exceptional TEDx salon event in person to inspire audiences once again. This time, the TEDx stage will see voices trailblazing their way to create a more humanitarian, diverse, inclusive, and culturally rich society by actively taking upon challenges to break stereotypes. This gathering, unlike any other, will not only inspire but also compel us to challenge our limitations and view the world from a different lens when we step out. We invite everyone to join us for a very special TEDx Salon.”
