Ramayan Stars Arun Govil, Deepika Chikhlia, and Sunil Lahri Visit Ayodhya Before Ram Temple Inauguration

In a heartwarming moment for fans of the iconic TV series Ramayan, actors Arun Govil, Deepika Chikhlia, and Sunil Lahri, known for portraying Lord Ram, Sita, and Laxman, have visited Ayodhya Ram Mandir ahead of the much anticipated ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony of the Ram Temple, scheduled for January 22.

The trio, adorned in traditional yellow and red attire, was seen strolling the streets of Ayodhya, creating a buzz of excitement among locals and fans. Dipika donned a vibrant red saree, while Arun and Sunil chose simplicity in traditional yellow kurtas.

As part of the festivities, the actors are set to film a special music album titled “Humare Ram Aayenge.” Renowned singer Sonu Nigam has lent his voice to the song, and the shooting took place at Guptar Ghat, Hanumangarhi, and Lata Chowk.

Cultural Enrichment: During an event in Ayodhya, Arun Govil, who immortalized the character of Lord Ram, expressed his thoughts on the significance of the Pran Pratistha Mahotsav of Lord Ram. He emphasized, “Ayodhya’s Ram Temple will be our ‘Rashtra Mandir,’ reviving the fading culture worldwide. This temple will convey a message that strengthens our culture, serving as a heritage known to the entire world. It will be a source of inspiration, pride, and identity for us. Let our morals be adopted by all.”

Sunil Lahiri, who portrayed Laxman, shared his feelings about attending the Pran Pratishtha Mahotsav, saying, “I feel fortunate to witness this event, gaining insights that I did not know. The religious and positive atmosphere in the country will send a positive feeling to the world.”

Adding to this, Sunil Lahiri highlighted the importance of understanding the teachings of Ramayana, stating, “Those who deny Ram don’t understand what Ram is unless they read Ramayana. God is Maryada Purushottam, and Ramayana teaches us to live with dignity.”

Deepika Chikhalia, the actress behind the role of Goddess Sita, expressed her gratitude for the love received by the characters from Ramayana. She remarked, “Even after the construction of Ram temple, our image in people’s hearts will remain unchanged. Ram Lala’s life is being consecrated, and the characters of Ramayana will continue to receive similar love.”

With the ‘pran pratishtha’ ceremony drawing near, the presence of these beloved actors has added a touch of nostalgia and cultural significance to the grand event in Ayodhya.
