He then released his debut single later that year, “iYiYi,” which entered the Top 20 in Australia due in large part to a cameo by Flo Rida. In December 2010, the song appeared on Simpson’s debut EP – 4 U.

In 2011, Simpson released the song “On My Mind” that May and went on a brief US tour in support of his EP ‘Coast to Coast’. He was also regularly featured on Australian television in 2011. He released his first EP for Entertainment One Music, the five-track ‘Wave One’ with the Tide. 2018 saw the release of his singles “Pirates Dream” and “Underwater.” The band split in 2019.
