Timbaland acknowledges Jay-Z and Drake’s support during his struggle with addiction

Timbaland, the four-time Grammy Award-winning record producer, has opened up about his addiction to prescription drugs Vicodin and OxyContin. In an interview on Club Shay Shay with Shannon Sharpe, Timbaland, real name Timothy Mosley, said that Jay-Z and Drake were instrumental in helping him get through his addiction.

Mosley said that Jay-Z reached out to him at his lowest point and advised him to avoid interviews. On the other hand, Drake told Mosley to “check” his behavior.

“Those guys are special to the world,” Mosley said. “I didn’t come out until the darkness man, and that’s why I say, it’s all love with these guys. They helped me during my darkest moment.”

Mosley said he weaned himself off the drugs without help after having an “out-of-body experience.” He also praised Jay-Z as a “prophet” and said he learned a lot from working with him in the studio.

“I’ve never seen anybody like Hov. Hov actually raised me, and he doesn’t even know it,” Mosley said. “He raised me in the music business. He was so prolific, so wise beyond his age, that I was just amazed at just watching him. That’s why I had a different bond with Jay when it comes to my music. It was like we were rewriting the Bible, in a way, or rewriting history as it was going to be.”

Mosley’s story is a reminder that addiction can affect anyone, regardless of their success. It is also a reminder that there is hope for recovery. With the help of friends, family, and professionals, it is possible to overcome addiction and live a healthy and productive life.

Timbaland to commercialize AI software that will revolutionize music

Timbaland, the Grammy-winning producer, plans to commercialize artificial intelligence (AI) software that he believes will revolutionize how songs are made.

The software Timbaland has been developing for several years uses AI to create realistic and lifelike vocal imitations of other artists. This means that up-and-coming artists with a good cadence or flow but not a great voice could use the software to achieve more success. Established artists could also use the software to test collaborations and save time.

“It’s going to be a new way of creating and generating money with fewer costs,” the influential beatmaker told Forbes. “I’m already here. This is what I’m doing. I’m going to lead the way.”

Timbaland believes that the software has the potential to change the music industry in several ways.

  • It could make it easier for artists to create high-quality music without spending money on studio time or expensive vocal talent.
  • It could open up new possibilities for collaboration between artists, as they could now work together even if they are not physically in the same place.
  • It could help to preserve the legacy of deceased artists, as their voices could be used to create new music even after they are gone.

Timbaland is still in the early stages of commercializing the software, but he is confident that it has the potential to change the music industry for the better. He is also excited about the possibilities that the software opens up for artists, both new and established.
