Mumbai had another reason to keep the festive cheer going, with Prateek Kuhad successfully kickstarting the India leg of ‘The Way That Lovers Do’ World Tour, produced and presented by BookMyShow, India’s leading entertainment destination.
At the enormous Jio World Gardens, Bandra-Kurla Complex (BKC), where Prateek Kuhad gave his first live performance in Mumbai (and India) since the pandemic, thousands of fans of all ages were seen engrossed in the artist’s performance, connecting with his music, and taking in the atmosphere of the concert in a trance.
Mumbai witnessed a fantastic audience response to Prateek Kuhad’s “The Way That Lovers Do” Tour, with hands waving in the air as Prateek sang his hot new favorite songs like “Just A Word” and “Favourite Peeps” along with his evergreen radio favorites like “cold/mess” and “Kasoor.”
Raising the bar for live entertainment production, BookMyShow transported the audience into a world of love with a soulful visual experience complementing the critically acclaimed singer-songwriter’s relatable and beautiful music. The stage aesthetics were minimal and contemporary yet spellbinding, much like Kuhad’s signature style.
Youth sensations Munawar Faruqui, Santanu Hazarika and content creators such as Rhea Gurnani, Aashna Shah, Tarini Shah, Anahita Karanjia, and Jiggar Thakkar were also spotted at the live show in Mumbai.
The tour follows the release of Kuhad’s latest 11-track studio album, ’The Way That Lovers Do,’ released in May 2022 via Elektra Records and spoke about human love, friendship, and connectivity.
Best known for his intimate songwriting, earnest lyricism, and experimental flare, the 32-year-old global breakout star is touring on his home turf after a hiatus of one and a half years. After a wholesome and enthralling show in Mumbai, Prateek will perform in Pune at Liberty Square, Phoenix Marketcity, for a completely sold-out show.
