The ‘SexyBack’ hitmaker, who recently collaborated with JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick, and Joey Fatone for NSYNC’s first new song in two decades, ‘Better Place,’ for the upcoming movie ‘Trolls Band Together,’ is set to take center stage in 2024 for a major US tour. A source close to Timberlake disclosed this exciting news to the New York Post newspaper’s Page Six column.

The reunion of NSYNC at this year’s VMAs, more than a decade after their last public performance at the awards show, marked a memorable moment. The group presented the Best Pop award at the event, where Taylor Swift was one of the night’s big winners, taking home nine prizes.

JC Chasez expressed their nostalgia for the VMAs, stating, “Over 20 years ago, we were here when we won Best Pop Video for ‘Bye Bye Bye.’ It was our first VMA and meant the world to us.” Chris Kirkpatrick added, “That award validated our hard work.”

Visibly surprised and thrilled by NSYNC’s presence, Taylor Swift asked about their future plans, saying, “Are you doing something? What’s gonna happen now? They’re gonna do something, and I need to know what it is.” However, the group remained tight-lipped about their plans, leaving fans curious.

The VMAs moment was reminiscent of their 2013 appearance when JC, Lance, Chris, and Joey briefly performed with Justin during a medley as he received the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.

Justin Timberlake describes ‘Better Place’ as “a love letter to fans”

Justin Timberlake has described the new NSYNC song, ‘Better Place,’ as “a love letter to fans.” The song, a reunion masterpiece after over two decades, was recorded for the upcoming animated film, ‘Trolls Band Together,’ in which Justin voices the character Branch alongside Anna Kendrick as Poppy.

Timberlake shared a behind-the-scenes glimpse of the creative process on Instagram, highlighting the significance of the song to their dedicated fan base. He emphasized, “If we do this song, it’s a love letter to our fans.”

Fans can anticipate the release of ‘Better Place’ on September 29, a heartfelt musical gift from the iconic group. Justin Timberlake’s 2024 US tour announcement has added to the excitement, promising a thrilling year for music enthusiasts.
