BookMyShow, the promoter for the India leg of the Justin Bieber Justice World Tour, is confident of the pop star’s show in New Delhi in October this year. Justin Bieber has taken a break from touring, citing health issues.
“We know that Justin Bieber has decided to take a break from touring and wish Justin a speedy recovery. We admire his decision to put his health first and can’t wait to see him back on the road. Our understanding is the Asia leg of the tour, including New Delhi, India, in October, is set to continue as scheduled,” a Bookmyshow spokesperson said.
Justin Bieber announced taking a break to recover from Ramsay Hunt Syndrome he suffered earlier this year. He recently performed six live shows in Europe and Brazil before taking a break.
The pop star took to social media to note, “Earlier this year, I went public about my battle with Ramsay-Hunt Syndrome, where my face was partially paralysed.”
“As the result of this illness, I could not complete the North American leg of the Justice Tour.
“After resting and consulting with my doctors, family, and team, I went to Europe to continue the tour. I performed six live shows, but it took a real toll on me. This past weekend, I performed at Rock in Rio and gave everything I have to the people in Brazil.”
Justin, however, did not reveal the estimated timeline of his return.
“After getting off the stage, the exhaustion overtook me, and I realized that I needed to make my health the priority right now. So I’m going to take a break from touring for the time being. I will be ok, but I need time to rest and get better.”
“I’ve been so proud to bring this show and our message of Justice to the world. Thank you for your prayers and support throughout all of this! I love you all passionately!”
