Rapper and producer John Keenan is renowned for his original hip-hop style and thought-provoking lyrics. John, born in Great Bend, Kansas, began developing his musical aptitude at a young age. He released “Mind of a Madman I” after attending Kansas State University, where he honed his artistic, producing, and engineering abilities.
In 2011, Keenan published his debut album, “Where I Went Wrong,” and his first EP, “One Day At A Time.” Before relocating to Phoenix, Arizona, where he started production on his third album, “The Illusion of Logic,” he published his sophomore album, “Imagination to the Nation,” in 2013.
Mark Keenan, Twisted Insane, and Whitney Peyton had guest appearances on John’s third album, which was released in 2016. In 2018, he released “Late Bloomer,” his fourth entirely self-produced album, and he went on the Northwest Warpath Tour with Illest Uminati. In 2020, “The Lucky Rubberband EP” and the song “What They Say,” which featured Layzie Bone of Bone Thugs-n-Harmony, were released.
