BTS’ Jimin breaks Guinness World Record for most streamed K-pop solo artist 

BTS member Jimin has broken the Guinness World Record for the most streamed K-pop solo artist. The singer reached one billion streams on Spotify in just 393 days, beating the previous record held by his bandmate Jungkook. 

Jimin’s solo music has been a huge success since his debut in 2013. His first solo single, “Lie,” was a top 10 hit in South Korea and was certified platinum by the Korea Music Content Association. His second solo single, “Serendipity,” was even more successful, reaching number one in South Korea and being certified double platinum.

During his time in London, Jimin made a special visit to the renowned Warner Bros’ Harry Potter studio. On Saturday, he took to Instagram to share an exciting array of pictures and videos from his memorable experience. Opting for a stylish ensemble consisting of a green and blue striped T-shirt, denim jeans, sneakers, and a trusty bag, Jimin captured the essence of his outing. 

In one captivating photo, Jimin playfully tugged on a trolley near the iconic 9 and 3/4 platform within the studio. He also struck poses inside the legendary Gringotts Wizarding Bank, next to the flying car, and by the Pensieve. Walking through Diagon Alley, he found himself in front of a shop showcasing the Weasleys’ Puking Pastilles, exclaiming in a clip, “Ah ahaha it’s so my cup of tea.” Another clip revealed his genuine awe as he savored the view, accompanied by his heartfelt expression of “Oh.. ooooo.” 

While Jimin refrained from adding a caption to the post, he included the hashtag “wb tour London,” encapsulating his remarkable adventure at the Warner Bros’ Harry Potter studio.
