Jason Derulo suffered a foot injury before his Super Bowl performance on February 12.
The singer of Talk Dirty apparently sustained the injury three weeks ago while playing basketball and has been using a stick to move around.
During the game, he landed on someone’s foot and broke his foot somewhat, and tore a ligament.
In order to hasten his recovery, the 33-year-old underwent a treatment that involved receiving stem cell injections. According to reports, he now attends physical therapy daily.
Sources believe Jason will perform at the Super Bowl even if he has recovered completely.
The NFL TikTok Tailgate, the American football league’s pre-game celebration before Super Bowl LVII at the State Farm Stadium in Glendale, is slated to feature Jason and The Black Keys as its headlining act.
The national anthem will be sung by country musician Chris Stapleton, while Rihanna will headline the halftime show. Other performers at the pre-game show include Abbott Elementary actress Sheryl Lee Ralph performing Lift Every Voice and Sing and Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds singing America the Beautiful.
