BTS rapper J-Hope is all set to release his first single and solo album, days after the K-pop band announced taking a hiatus. J-Hope took to the social media to reveal his first single, ‘More,’ would release on July 1.
On Instagram, J-Hope has posted a few concept pictures and wrote “MORE” in its caption.
Meanwhile, BigHit confirmed the release date of the song via a tweet.
“1st Single ‘MORE’ Track Release 2022.07.01. 1PM KST,” BigHit Music tweeted.
J-Hope also became the first BTS member to announce a solo album, with ‘Jack In The Box’ following J-Hope’s 2018 seven-track mixtape ‘Hope World.’
‘Jack In The Box’ is slated to release on July 15, 2022. The rapper-singer has also updated his Instagram Bio to “Get ready for Jack In The Box.”
“J-Hope’s solo album, as expressed in the title of the album “Jack In The Box,” represents his aspirations to break the mould and grow further,” BigHit Music said.
“Starting with his pre-released track to be released on July 1, diverse content to show J-Hope’s creative identity as an artist will be introduced,” the statement added.
