Drake will go on his first tour in five years from June through September this year. The ‘Certified Lover Boy’ singer said he planned to tour the United States with his collaborator 21 Savage.
Dubbed ‘It’s All a Blur,’ the tour would represent Drake’s first since his 2018 excursion, Aubrey & the Three Amigos.
The singer’s Instagram post contained videos from his last outings. The upcoming tour was referred to as “a celebration of the last decade” in a related press release that Billboard obtained.
Drake has released several albums since his last tour, including Honestly, Nevermind, and Her Loss in 2017 and 2021’s Certified Lover Boy. Her Loss, an album produced in association with 21 Savage, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 album chart.
The hugely successful hip-hop artists will begin a massive tour to promote their collaborative album ‘Her Loss.’ The run officially starts on June 16 in New Orleans and ends on September 5 in Glendale, Arizona.
But more events will be added, including a stop for Drake in his native Toronto.
Drake recently admitted he wants to “gracefully exit” the music industry to make room for the subsequent generation of rappers, prompting the tour’s announcement.
