Wearing a black Tamba and Kurta ensemble, accessorized with Kundal, Diljit Dosanjh emanated the quintessential Punjabi man persona during his performance at the globally renowned music festival, Coachella.
Diplo, an American music producer and DJ, was captured dancing to Diljit Dosanjh’s performance. Diljit Dosanjh posted a video on his Instagram Stories and expressed his gratitude to Diplo, saying, “Thank you, Diplo.”
Diljit Dosanjh posted a preview of his pre-performance preparations on Instagram a few hours before sharing his on-stage appearance on social media. He looked fashionable in a matching set, paired with a pearl necklace and a bucket hat to complete his ensemble.

Bollywood stars Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Sonam Kapoor, Arjun Rampal, and rapper Badshah praised Diljit for his electrifying performance.
Alia, who co-starred with Diljit in the movie Udta Punjab (2016), praised his stint as “epic,” Sonam Kapoor expressed regret that she couldn’t attend the live show.
Badshah reacted to Diljit’s performance with an Indian flag emoji, while rapper Divine expressed his admiration with a fire emoji. Actor Arjun Rampal called Diljit a “true rock star legend.” Punjabi artist Jassie Gill also reacted with multiple fire emojis, and rapper Raja Kumari called it a historic moment.

The festival’s current edition will showcase a diverse range of musical talent, including renowned South Asian artists like Ali Sethi, famous for his song “Pasoori.” Along with Sethi, the festival will feature many popular international performers such as BLACKPINK, Kid Laroi, Charli XCX, Labrinth, Jai Wolf, Joy Crookes, Jai Paul, Frank Ocean, and Underworld.
