Carrie Underwood partners with SiriusXM to launch her radio channel ‘Carrie’s Country’

Carrie Underwood has announced that she has partnered with SiriusXM to create a new radio channel called “Carrie’s Country,” which will be available from June. The channel will be available exclusively year-round and feature various music genres, from classic rock to country.

Throughout her music career spanning almost 20 years, Underwood has achieved 16 No.1 Billboard Country Airplay hits and has been honored three times as the ACM Entertainer of the Year.

“I’m thrilled to partner with SiriusXM on my new channel,” Carrie Underwood said.

“I can’t wait to welcome listeners into my musical universe, sharing my favourite music across all of the genres I love, from classic rock to the latest in country,” Carrie added.

Along with her music, the channel will also play songs from other artists such as Keith Urban, Dolly Parton, Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert, AC/DC, Guns N’ Roses, and The Rolling Stones.

The channel will also feature original programming, including monthly themed shows and a segment inspired by her Las Vegas residency, Reflection.

“Carrie Underwood is one of country music’s biggest and most multifaceted artists today, and collaborating with her on her very own SiriusXM channel is truly special,” said Scott Greenstein, SiriusXM’s president and chief content officer. “‘Carrie’s Country’ will allow listeners and fans to connect with her on a new level, beyond her musical choices and influences, as she curates the channel’s programming. We welcome her to the SiriusXM family as we expand our country music offerings to our subscribers.”

Furthermore, Carrie’s Country will invite special guest DJs such as friends, peers, and fans to join the channel. Underwood will also introduce her band members and touring crew to the audience and share her interests in fitness, wellness, and gardening.

“(Here, Carrie) will look back at career milestones and memories, all set to the songs that make up the soundtrack to her life.
