The popular K-Pop band BLACKPINK has disclosed the initial set of musicians accompanying them at American Express presents BST Hyde Park. On Sunday, July 2nd, the quartet, consisting of Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, will headline the summer music festival in London.
The K-Pop group will be accompanied by other notable performers. Pop sensations such as Sabrina Carpenter, the South Korean indie-rock group The Rose, Caity Baser, famous for ‘Pretty Boys,’ and Mae Stephens, whose track ‘If We Ever Broke Up’ gained immense popularity on the video-sharing app. The organizers are still expected to add more artists to the lineup.
Meanwhile, Daryl Hall has been recently revealed as the special guest for Billy Joel’s performance on July 7th. The 76-year-old musician, co-founder and primary lead vocalist of Daryl Hall and John Oates will be making his solo debut at Hyde Park.
Guns N’ Roses to make BST Hyde Park debut
The BST Hyde Park concert series will also feature headlining performances by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, Take That, and Pink, who will have the special guest appearance of Gwen Stefani.
Furthermore, the London outdoor event, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary, will feature the debut of the ‘Welcome to the Jungle’ rockers Guns N’ Roses on June 30th.
Slash, Duff McKagan, Dizzy Reed, Richard Fortus, Frank Ferrer, and Melissa Reese will join frontman Axl Rose for the special show. The legendary heavy metal band will likely headline the Glastonbury festival on June 24th.
In other news, Jisoo dropped a concept photo for her upcoming debut album, ‘Me,’ set to be released on March 31st.
Blackpink fans eagerly anticipate the release of the group’s album and music video, as YG Entertainment, their agency, has announced that this will be their most expensive production yet.
