Grammy award-winning singer Billie Eilish is back in the studio to prepare for her next album. Billie Eilish recently wrapped her European edition of ‘Happier Than Ever World Tour.’
The 20-year-old singer shared a picture on Instagram with her brother, Finneas, who produces and co-writes for her sister.
“I just want to keep enjoying the music that we make. And so that’s why I think I’m a little bit of a procrastinator when it comes to work, especially when we’re busy. In theory, I want to make a song and put out an album next year,” she said.
Even though she finds it hard to make music, Eilish said she wants to create something that “touches” people.
“…but that means we have to make it, and it’s really hard to make music. I don’t want to make something I don’t like, so I get freaked out, but I never want to stop creating the way that we create and making music that touches people. That’s it, you know? That’s the only longevity I give a s*** about,” she added.
Apart from creating music, Eilish is encouraging young fans to make their vote count during this year’s mid-term elections in the US. She has partnered with the non-profit voter registration organization, HeadCount.
“I’m working with HeadCount to encourage everyone to show up at the polls and use their voice during these midterm elections. With what is happening in our country, we need to get out to the polls and vote for what we believe in. Not showing up is not an option,” Eilish said in a statement.
