A common name and a ‘console heartthrob‘ among people who love to party is DJ Michael Weston. Born as Nayan Bansal in Delhi, this 24-year-old lad is setting India’s EDM scene ablaze. DJ Weston is a self-taught artist who started DJ’ing from his school days itself. From his first year of BCA, he started DJ’ing full-time. He has immense love for music production and that’s what he intended to set his career path in, since childhood.
His music transcends all boundaries and therefore he is one of the most sought-after faces in Delhi party scene. One should watch him head-banging during his gigs to get that instant amp of energy. His waist-long-hair just adds up to the jamboree.
His biggest inspirations are Skrillex, Nghtmre, and Lucalush. He dreams to open for all of them one day in his career. One of the most remarkable compliments he had received is when he was participating in the War of DJ’s, Goa. He was approached by not one but quite a few International agencies, who were in awe of his work.
His dominant genres of music are – Bass music, Trap, Hip–Hop & Dubstep. Currently, he is making the crowd sway on his tune in the heart of Delhi, Connaught Place, at Darzi Bar and Kitchen. Diversifying his capabilities, he is also training/teaching budding DJs the art of music production. He lets his students open sets for him.
