In a landmark move for Indian folk music, JetSynthesys’ Global Music Junction (GMJ), powered by Hari Prem Films (HPF), has announced an exclusive partnership with celebrated Rajasthani folk singer Mame Khan. The collaboration marks a significant leap in efforts to take regional Indian sounds to a global stage and will span a three-year period covering music releases, branded partnerships, and international live performances.
Mame Khan, revered for his powerful vocals and rich Rajasthani heritage, has gained widespread acclaim through platforms like Coke Studio Bharat, where his music bridged folk roots with modern soundscapes. This new partnership further cements his position as a cultural ambassador for Indian folk traditions.
Under the agreement, HPF will take the lead in managing Mame Khan’s digital rights, YouTube presence, and upcoming music releases, including singles, collaborations, and exclusive brand integrations. While Khan will continue to explore selective collaborations, Hari Prem Films will function as his primary digital and artist management representative for all content and campaigns moving forward.
The partnership also expands into live performance management for two of Mame Khan’s major acts:
- The RockNRoots Project, his signature nine-member fusion band.
- The Folk Orchestra of Rajasthan, a majestic ensemble of over 40 folk musicians.
HPF will handle all bookings, show sales, and international performance logistics for both acts — reinforcing GMJ’s commitment to creating a robust infrastructure for regional artists.
Mame Khan expressed his excitement:
“Folk music has always been about storytelling, emotion, and cultural continuity. With GMJ and HPF, I’ve found partners who not only respect this tradition but are ready to elevate it through new-age platforms. This collaboration is about preserving our roots while embracing the possibilities of global recognition.”
Rajan Navani, Founder and CEO of JetSynthesys, said:
“At Global Music Junction, our mission is to bridge India’s musical heritage with global audiences. Mame Khan’s voice carries the soul of Rajasthan and the spirit of India. His ability to blend tradition with contemporary appeal makes him an ideal artist for this journey. Together, we aim to take Indian folk music to unprecedented global heights.”
This partnership adds momentum to GMJ’s growing artist-first ecosystem, which already boasts a diverse roster — from legends like Sonu Nigam and Shaan, to regional powerhouses like Sapna Choudhary. Backed by Warner Music India, GMJ offers artists creative freedom, global reach, and state-of-the-art production support across digital, branded, and live verticals.
