EUGENE: The new EP SYDEREAL out NOW

From January 6, 2025, Pink Floyd fans and electronic music enthusiasts can discover Eugene’s new EP Sydereal, now available on all digital platforms. This project pays homage to Syd Barrett— legendary co-founder of Pink Floyd—through ambient and indie-rock undertones enriched by Eugene’s distinctive sound design. The focus track Love You(going to radio on January 7) serves as the EP’s lead single.

EP Sydereal

Released via Discipline and distributed by Believe Digital, EP Sydereal marks a new chapter in Eugene’s artistic evolution. This work merges the avant-garde spirit of Barrett with a modern approach, blending electronic, indie-rock, and psychedelic elements. Through refined arrangements and immersive textures, Eugene creates a bridge between the musical innovation of the past and the experimentation of today, capturing the essence of an era that forever changed the face of music.

“Barrett has always represented the purest example of creative freedom to me,” Eugene explains. “He transcends time and evokes something cosmic—something ‘sidereal’—that gives life to unimaginable dreams, just like the cover artwork, where an electronic circuit is brought to life by a magnificent diamond through what feels like magic or alchemy.”
