After months of online buzz and fan speculation, d4vd and Hyunjin of Stray Kids have officially released their first collaboration, “Always Love,” a deeply emotive and sonically stunning new single that brings together d4vd’s introspective style and Hyunjin’s serene vocals.
The pair’s mutual admiration has been no secret: from Hyunjin praising d4vd in a Teen Vogue interview to d4vd returning the love during a Korean radio appearance. After a long-awaited in-person meeting backstage at a Stray Kids concert in Los Angeles, the two artists finally came together in the studio — and the result is nothing short of magical.
About the Track: “Always Love”
“Always Love” captures the bittersweet complexity of love — longing, questioning, and ultimate acceptance — through a duet that’s as cinematic as it is personal. The track builds through a series of unresolved questions (“Do you… Would you… Are you…”) before reaching a soul-stirring affirmation: “I don’t need no one else, but you.”
Their alternating vocals act as reflections of inner thoughts, delivering a raw and vulnerable performance that showcases both artists’ emotional depth.
🎙️ “This song is about confronting your feelings, even when they don’t make sense. I’ve admired Hyunjin’s artistry for a long time, and collaborating on this meant a lot,” says d4vd.
About d4vd’s Debut Album: WITHERED
Released earlier this month, d4vd’s debut album Withered is a 15-track conceptual body of work tracing the full arc of a relationship through the life cycle of a rose — a recurring symbol in his visuals. Intended to be experienced in sequence, Withered is full of emotional revelations, genre-defying sounds, and poetic lyricism.
The album features standout collaborations like “Crashing” ft. Kali Uchis, the breakout track “Feel It” (featured in Amazon Prime’s Invincible), and fan-favorite anthem “What Are You Waiting For.”
On Tour: The WITHERED 2025 World Tour
d4vd’s WITHERED 2025 World Tour will bring his immersive, emotionally driven live show across North America, Europe, and Asia, with support from Bryant Barnes, Laundry Day, Yung Kai, Saga Faye, and MOIO on select dates. The tour follows his critically acclaimed Coachella performance and sold-out “My House Is Not A Home” 2024 Tour.
Global Reach: SEA Tour, Coachella, & Major Collaborations
Earlier this year, d4vd completed a content-rich Southeast Asia visit, collaborating with top creators and performing for 5,000+ fans. His recent resume includes working with SZA, The Kid LAROI, 21 Savage, and contributions to Netflix’s Arcane, Fortnite, Call of Duty, and more.
About d4vd
d4vd (David Burke), the 20-year-old Houston native, began crafting songs in his sister’s closet using BandLab and an iPhone. His breakthrough hit “Romantic Homicide” went multi-Platinum, and he quickly followed up with the beloved “Here With Me.” His rise is fueled by authenticity, internet-born creativity, and a fearless blend of alternative, pop, and R&B.
Today, d4vd is a voice for Gen Z, praised for his originality and lyrical depth — shaped as much by manga and indie rock as by his own journals.
