
Alex Krawczyk, a Toronto native, is well-known domestically and internationally for her number-one singles “There Will be Light,” “Better Days,” and “Turning.”
Le Olam, her debut album from 2022, showcased her folk-pop fusion of songs to both critics and fans. At the 2023 Canadian Folk Music Awards, Alex’s CD garnered a nomination for Best New Artist. Alex is now releasing “A Song for You,” a stand-alone single.
Krawczyk and producer Robbie Roth wrote the heartfelt new song and debuted on MTS Records on January 25th, 2023. “A Song For You” was created as a tribute to our precious moments together, based on love, respect, compassion, and understanding, according to Alex.
“I hope ‘A Song For You’ offers some brightness and lightness to our world. I am grateful to everyone who collaborated on it,” Alex Krawczyk said.
Alex aims to evoke strong emotions in her listeners through her music, inviting them to reflect on various facets of life. Alex’s music takes listeners on an emotional trip that ultimately uplifts them, covering everything from loss and grief to love and new beginnings.
Alex Krawczyk burst onto the folk music world in 2022 with her debut album, Le Olam, which had more than 150K Spotify streams. It also peaked at #1 on the US radio airplay chart, peaked at #10, and received a nomination for the Canadian Folk Music Awards.
Alex spends much of her time helping with humanitarian causes in her community when she isn’t composing music. She continues to write and record new music, choosing to avoid the spotlight while doing so. Through song, she continues to express her journey of recovery and optimism.
