Rihanna is working on creating new music and will likely release it by the end of 2023. Rihanna released her eighth studio album Anti in 2016.
During her interview for the March 2023 edition of British Vogue, Rihanna said she would likely release new music later this year.
“I want it to be this year. Like, honestly, it’d be ridiculous if it’s not this year. But I just want to have fun. I just want to make music and make videos,” Rihanna said.
Rihanna further said she takes “pressure” to create good music, or it’s not worth it.
“There’s this pressure that I put on myself. That if it’s not better than that, it is not even worth it. It’s not the right way to look at music because music is an outlet and a space to create, and you can create whatever. It doesn’t have to even be on any scale. It just has to be something that feels good.”
Meanwhile, Rihanna is expecting her second child with rapper boyfriend A$AP Rocky. She revealed she had no clue of her pregnancy during the cover shoot for British Vogue magazine.
“My son so fine! Idc idc idc (I don’t care)!” she wrote. “How crazy both of my babies were in these photos and mommy had no clue (love heart emojis)… thank you so much (editor) @edward_enninful and (photographers) @inezandvinoodh for celebrating us as a family!”
