K9’s ‘Kol Na Hove’ is a perfect song for long-distance lovers

K9's 'Kol Na Hove' is a perfect song for long-distance lovers

The new Punjabi track “Kol Na Hove” by GrooveNexus is now available on its own YouTube account, GrooveNexus Records. The gorgeous ballad, which features K9 and Khanak, is a beautiful tune to cherish sentimental love. K9 sang this gem while RV Panesar provided the music. K9 is also the lyricist of this beautiful track.

“This song is very close to my heart because it reminds me of a very special person who is not with me anymore,” shares K9.

“The idea and inspiration behind the song are that one of my friends is in a long-distance relationship, and he used to complain about not being able to meet his partner regularly, and they were not able to do all the things that regular couples do. So the inspiration behind the song is to convey the feelings about long-distance relationships and how it feels when the other person is not with you,” he added.

Sharing about the music video, K9 added, “The context of the song is about the main lead, thinking about all the moments he has spent with his partner, played by Khanak. In the video, you will see in a dream that he is reliving all the moments he has lived with his partner, like riding a bike. So yes, the song talks about those moments in every long-distance relationship.”

We can all connect to long-distance relationships because they have been common in our society for a long time. The modern relationship is more about people putting themselves first in terms of self-care and careers, which frequently forces people to tone down on their efforts for their partner. Sometimes separation is inevitable. Nonetheless, it catalyzes a blessing or a lesson to emerge.
