Album “ODDINARY” by Stray Kids has become the first K-pop album of 2022 to spend four weeks on the Billboard 200. In March, “ODDINARY” made its debut at No. 1 on the Billboard’s chart, making Stray Kids only the third Korean artist in history ever to top the Billboard 200 after BTS and SuperM. “ODDINARY” has also held its top position on Billboard’s World Albums chart for the fourth successive week.
Stray Kids’ latest album, consisting of six songs, is currently placed at 131st position for the week ending April 23 on the Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart. This week, stray Kids has also charted at No. 83 on Billboard’s Artist 100.
Interestingly, Stray Kids’ “ODDINARY” is the only K-pop album released in 2022 to spend four weeks on Billboard’s weekly ranking of the most popular albums in the United States. The mini-album is Stray Kids’ first album ever to enter the Billboard 200.
The feat puts Stray Kids on the elite list of other K-pop bands to enter the Billboard 200 for four weeks or more. BTS, BLACKPINK, SuperM, NCT, NCT 127, TXT, and TWICE have all achieved this rare feat.
The Korean boy band’s title track “MANIAC” ranked at No. 14 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart and No. 117 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart, and No. 173 on the Global 200 in its fourth week.
Additionally, the album stays strong at No. 12 on the Top Current Album Sales chart, No. 13 on the Top Album Sales chart, and No. 24 on the Tastemaker Albums chart.
