Snoop Dogg to reveal unreleased music as NFTs

Entertainment icon Snoop Dogg is set to release some of his unreleased music, iconic collectibles, and limited-edition pitches as non-fungible tokens (NFTs) on the Cardano (ADA) blockchain. Snoop Dogg has released 19 studio albums, selling over 40 million albums worldwide. He has also been nominated 20 times at the Grammy Awards.

Snoop Dogg to reveal unreleased music as NFTs

Earlier this month, Snoop Dogg released a collection of art by NFT from his early years, “A Journey With The Dogg.” According to crypto.com, the movement consists of an original track, “NFT” — an instant classic inspired by the NFT movement.

The portion of the proceeds supported emerging artists in the crypto space and Snoop Dogg’s Youth Football League.

This time, Snoop Dogg has collaborated with Champ Medici to join Clay Nation, which will unveil iconic collectibles, unreleased music, and limited-edition Clay Nation plots.

“It’s official: @SnoopDogg & @champmedici will partner with Clay Nation to bring you iconic collectibles, unreleased music, & limited edition ‘pitches’,” announced Clay Nation on Twitter.

MUSIC AND NFT

An NFT is a digital asset representing real-world objects like art, music, in-game items, and videos.

Musicians worldwide create non-fungible tokens using the NFT software to sell their music. Even the music streaming giant Spotify recently floated integrating NFTs in audio format on its website.

Twitter has already integrated NFTs in the form of images on its platform, while Mark Zuckerberg has also said that Instagram will start accepting NFTs.
