Brockhampton's final and last album released

Band leader Kevin Abstract announces his experimental music collection, a final and new seventh album “before the end of the year.”

Back in March 2021, Kelvin Tweeted about two new Brockhampton albums this year. Stating those would be the group’s last.

Later in April 2021, the hip-hop boy band introduced the first of these announced two final albums, Roadrunner: New Light, New Machine. This album featured numerous guest artists like Charlie Wilson, A$AP Rocky, JPEGMafia, and Danny Brown. The album received critical acclaim and peaked at No. 11 on the U.S. Billboard 200.

One of the band members, Romil Hemnani announced the probability of departing mutual consent to focus on their respective niches after growing together for over a decade. Romil said, “Everybody’s given their life for the last 10 years”. “And at a certain point, people deserve to give their lives to themselves. So, it feels like it’s time to let everyone just spread their wings and do the things that they want to do.”

Kevin Abstract has been focusing more on solo music for some time now and back in May, he announced a new solo album. The album is currently in progress, which is followed by his 2019 album Arizona Baby.

In July 16, 2021 Kevin recently dropped a brand new single “Slugger,” which will be featured as rappers $not and Slowthai.

Brockhampton has scheduled a tour to Chicago this month, August 2021. This tour of his was expected to happen in 2020 but was halted due to COVID-19 pandemic and rescheduled now.

Pre-scheduled dates for May 2021 also were pushed back due to restrictions on live shows and gatherings, unfortunately.

There won’t be any live performances due to the prevailing covid-19 situation until next year.
