Marshmello’s India Tour 2019 | Making India Happier

International DJ sensation Christopher Comstock, famous as Marshmello, recently toured India to perform at the popular Vh1 Supersonic music festival. Indian celebrities from Shah Rukh Khan, Arijit Singh, Neha Kakkar to Kartik Aaryan spent some time with the DJ. During his visit, he also released the official video of his latest track BIBA, composed together with Indian musician Pritam. BIBA has become a youth anthem in India since its release.

MARSHMELLOS INDIA TOUR 2019 1

India is so special to me. This is my third time here (in India) and I love it even more each time I come back,” Marshmello said in an interview with Indian Express.

Here are a few interesting moments and high times from Marshmello’s Tour de India.

2-minute silence at Pune, Vh1 Supersonic music festival for Pulwama Martyrs

On 15th February, a day after the Pulwama terrorist attack, DJ Marshmello even took to Twitter to send out his prayers to all affected by the Pulwama attack. Before playing his foot-tapping numbers here, American electronic music producer and DJ Marshmello observed a two-minute silence for the 44 CRPF Jawans who were martyred in the Pulwama terrorist attack on 14th February, 2018. Indian tricolour projected in the background, DJ Marshmello said: “Two minutes silence for the Indian soldiers who lost their lives in a terrorist attack.” Marshmello also expressed his grief on twitter.

Marshmello Went Bollywood

Fans at Vh1 Supersonic music festival saw some major surprise bombs by the DJ. He played songs like Coca Cola from a recent Bollywood movie. It’s been a trend that all international DJs, from DJ Snake to Alan Walker, touring India play Bollywood songs. Earlier in 2016, at the Sunburn Festival, Marshmello payed a tribute to Shah Rukh Khan and surprised the audience by playing ‘Chaiyya Chaiyya’ during his show. During his Mumbai tour, he left the crowd going crazy when he casually played ‘Kala Chashma’.

Here, take a look at him making the crowd sway to Kala Chasma.

Below, see him groove with Kartik Aryan on his latest movie track, Coca Cola Tu.

And, the very famous Chaiyya Chaiyya, see Marshmello becoming a cute SRK fan. Also, he is wearing an Indian attire, a kurta.

BIBA and his love for Shahrukh

Now, this is known to everyone that Marshmello is an SRK fan. In the official video of BIBA, he can be seen striking the signature DDLJ pose of Shah Rukh Khan. The mysterious masked DJ teamed up with music composer Pritam and singer-performer, Shirley Setia for his first Bollywood song BIBA.

Marshmello’s Indian Appetite

From Paani Poori to Paneer Tikka, Marshmello has got everything on his menu. Marshmello posted a cooking video on his YouTube channel in which Vidya Vox, Indian YouTube singing sensation, is teaching Marshmello how to prepare Paneer Tikka. As Marshmello’s Paneer Tikka would have sold out at rocket speed, his joint collaboration BIBA is selling out and becoming a chartbuster with each passing day.

In 2018, he posted another video on YouTube, showcasing his culinary skills by making Samosas. Check out the video below.

Neha Kakkar and Marshmello

Neha Kakkar too manages to shake a leg with Marshmello on her latest release Coca Cola Tu from the film Luka Chuppi.Just take a quick look at Marshmello and his dance moves.
