In a recent announcement, it has been revealed that Rita Ora will be stepping into the spotlight as she joins the cast of The Masked Singer’s 11th season, taking over the role previously held by Nicole Scherzinger.

Exciting New Addition for the Upcoming Season

According to a press release obtained by Deadline, Rita Ora, known for hits like “Let You Love Me,” will be assuming the position of a panelist on The Masked Singer during its highly anticipated 11th season. The show’s Instagram account officially confirmed the news, expressing their excitement at having Rita Ora on board. Fox TV’s Instagram account replied enthusiastically, calling her “my girl.”

“We’re grateful to have the amazing @ritaora shine her light and join us as a panelist on #TheMaskedSinger Season 11!”

Rita Ora shared her excitement with her Instagram Story, stating, “So happy the secret is finally out!! I’m joining @maskedsingerfox USA! Can’t wait to guess who’s behind the mask with the other panelists!”

Notably, Rita Ora has previous experience as a judge on the British version of The Masked Singer, which airs on ITV.

Nicole Scherzinger Takes a Break for West End Role

The change in the panel lineup comes as Nicole Scherzinger has decided to step away from The Masked Singer temporarily. She is set to star as Norma Desmond in the revival of “Sunset Boulevard” on London’s West End, with the production scheduled to debut later this month at London’s Savoy Theatre.

Rita Ora’s Impressive Track Record in Reality TV

Rita Ora’s involvement as a panelist on a reality competition show is nothing new. She previously served as a judge on The Masked Singer UK for four seasons and has an extensive background in reality TV, including appearances on shows like “The Voice: Australia,” “The X Factor UK,” and “America’s Next Top Model.”

The 11th season of The Masked Singer is slated to premiere in 2024, with Rita Ora joining co-hosts Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, and Robin Thicke.

The Masked Singer has become a beloved television phenomenon, with two seasons each year since 2019. Season 10 of the show, featuring the original judging panel of Scherzinger, Thicke, and Jeong, alongside host Nick Cannon, is set to premiere on September 27 on Fox, following a recent kickoff episode that revealed Demi Lovato as “Anonymouse.”
