TAJ by Rave & Crave making the world swirl on its tunes

Indian DJ Duo Rave & Crave creating ripples worldwide.

Rave & Crave, is making headlines across the world with their latest chartbuster track called ‘TAJ’. TAJ is a collaboration between BLR and Rave & Crave. The magnetic duo from New Delhi is what the future of Indian EDM artists look like.

TAJ by Rave & Crave making the world swirl on its tunes

Leon Bolier aka BLR wrote his first tune at the age of 7 on a Casio keyboard. After which he began playing the guitar by the age of 12. Music has always been the most important part of his life.

Similarly, Lavya Gulati and Virat Munjal, Rave and Crave respectively, have had a humble beginning. To begin with, they collectively waged the victory flag at the Sunburn contest. Consequently, they got their maiden opportunity to open for Tiesto, the world-known Dutch DJ.

Next, they released ‘Axiom’ in collaboration with Bakuboy and Austin Blake which turned out to be a sky-rocketing hit.  Besides, it earned a featured on HARDWELL ON AIR (HOA) as the ‘Demo of the week‘. They have thereafter become the third Indian DJ/Producer to feature on HOA, Episode 266. Furthermore, UMMET OZCAN and DJ CHUCKIE immensely support the Indian duo.

Rave & Crave are taking the electronic dance music scene by a storm. This EDM duo has worked for Spinnin’ Records, Armada Music, Peak Hour Music, and Insomniac Records. Their latest, TAJ, is for Spinnin’ Records. It is the leading record label in the world.

TAJ is supported by big guns, namely, Tiesto, Don Diablo, Martin Garrix, also Avicii, & Nicky Romero. Consequently, it also streamed on the Ultra Music Festival Live stream.

The track has hit 51,359,490 and counting views on YouTube. Subsequently, it has amassed over 4 Million streams on Spotify, a platform which is comparatively nonexistent in India. Likewise, the song also claimed the 11th Spot on Beatport Future house tracks. Hence, speaking of the massive reception of the track by audiences globally, Virat Munjal, of Rave & Crave says,

“TAJ is an energy delivering record with a glorious and beautiful synth lead that pleases big time. The fact that we have been supported by over 60 established artists across the world is very overwhelming for us. The reception of the song by audiences globally has been amazing. We get mailers every day telling us how much the people have loved the song. In fact, we also got a lot of fan videos dancing to TAJ and they were super cool. We are already working on more releases and hope everyone loves them too.”

On the collaboration and the future plan, Lavya Gulati feels that,

“We had an amazing time collaborating with BLR. He is a great guy with the very exciting thought process. We are now working towards infusing future bass and future sounds sound with Hindi vocals as this is the direction that music in our country will take in the near future. We are working closely with our management, BassKulture to explore the possibilities of collaborating with Bollywood singers to create a new sound”

Having already toured extensively across the country & playing at major festivals and colleges, the EDM DJ duo is now looking to spread their wings by touring internationally henceforth.

Speaking about touring, Rajat Mahajan from BassKulture adds,

“We have been getting a lot of booking requests from promoters internationally. The track has done really well in Europe and America. We are super stoked with the progress and we will be announcing international tours soon.”

Sidhartha Todi from BassKulture adds,

“These boys are just 22-years-old and are already making India proud, globally. The track has been a massive hit. Moreover, it has crossed the Nucleya track to hit over 20 Million views on a non-Bollywood dance music track. We are exploring new sounds with Indian flavors to serve to the worldwide audiences.“

These young boys stand by their anthem “Don’t think, just do it“. Currently, they are working towards finishing their productions and giving the world more such record-breaking tracks.

Here are some amazing pictures from their performance at Pulse 2018, AIIMS annual fest.
