BET Awards: Kendrick Lamar Named Best Male Hip Hop Artist For the 5th Time

Kendrick Lamar grabbed two prizes at the BET Awards, including the Best Male Hip Hop Artist award at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. Kendrick Lamar bagged the award for the fifth time, which puts him one ahead of Drake.

It was not the only award for Lamar, as the rapper also won the Video of the Year award for Family Ties, for which he collaborated with Baby Keem.

The Silk Sonic duo of Bruno Mars and Anderson .Paak also won Album of the Year and Best Group awards for their album, An Evening with Silk Sonic.

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs took home the Lifetime Achievement Award, while The Weeknd, Megan Thee Stallion, Mary J. Blige, and Lil Baby were among the other winners.
