Lollapalooza India: Jackson Wang gets mobbed by fans in Mumbai

Lollapalooza India: Jackson Wang gets mobbed by fans in Mumbai

Jackson Wang, a K-pop artist, appeared to have difficulty navigating the Mumbai airport parking lot as frenzied fans surrounded him to take photographs. As the musician arrived at the Mumbai airport ahead of the Lollapalooza India on Saturday, he was surrounded by fans, who flocked to him to take selfies. He greeted them with a ‘Namaste.’

Jackson struggled in such a crowded area, even though Mumbai Police officers were on hand to protect him and safely transport him to his car.

“Namaste, this is Jackson Wang; this is Magic Man. I have been wanting to come to India forever. I have always asked when I can go for 4-5 years, and finally, yes! We’re very blessed to be performing here tonight. I hope you guys enjoy tonight like there’s no tomorrow. You ready, India?” Jackson Wang said.

Jackson later rocked the stage, performing some of his greatest hits like ‘Go Ghost’ and ‘Come Alive.’

Diplo enthralls the audience on the final day of Lollapalooza India

On Sunday’s final day of the international music festival, American DJ Diplo, the rock group “The Strokes,” and Indian rapper “Divine” mesmerised the crowd. The evergreen “The strokes” songs “Last nite” and “Take it or leave it” were performed.

Diplo was wearing a black sweatshirt with the name and images of the former Miss World Aishwarya Rai emblazoned on the front. He played several popular songs, such as “Lean On” and “Where are you now.” During his 90-minute concert, he also performed the Punjabi song “Mundian tu bach ke” a performance.

Among other acts, performances by the American band “Cigarettes After Sex” and Indian singer-songwriter Prateek Kuhad were among the two-day event’s key highlights on the final day. Over the course of two days, at least 40 artists performed on four stages at the event.
