He hit the Indian land, first in 2015, and since then, the French producer has stepped into the Indian sub-continent several times. He loves India and its culture so much that he choose to shoot several music videos here. His massive banger – ‘Lean On’, in collaboration with Major Lazer, was shot at ND Studios in Karjat, Maharashtra. Major Lazer‘s tour to India inspired the video. In this song, they wanted to reflect the mind-blowing attitude and positive vibes of their Indian fanbase. DJ Snake claims that the country has influenced his music and his style, and sure why not – tracks like ‘Taki Taki,’ ‘Magenta Riddim,’ ‘Lean on’ are all primarily based on Indian ethnicity. Magenta Riddim‘s video was shot in Hyderabad, in which he worked with the local Telugu filmmakers and actors to make it look authentic.

I’m proud to say; this is probably my best video ever. I hope you enjoy it”, stated Snake for Magenta Riddim.

Talking more about what he loves about the country, he claims to be influenced by the vibrancy of colors, the mixed cultures, the variety of music, and the people. In one his conversations, he avowed what India meant to him,

“India is like a second home to me. I had to come back and get to more cities than I had ever done before. Meet more of the people, hear more of the music; see more of the country that has influenced me so much.”
