DJ Snake gives EDM spin to Kishore Kumar's Babu Samjho Ishare

DJ Snake, the world-renowned French DJ and record producer, is undoubtedly a massive Bollywood fan. He has proved the same time and again. Unfailing his reputation, this time, DJ Snake gave an interesting EDM spin to the legendary Kishore Kumar’s Babu Samjho Ishare.

Born William Sami Etienne Grigahcine, the ‘Magenta Riddim’ hitmaker, performed a gig in India in March 2019. And, ever since then, he is sharing hilarious Bollywood-inspired medleys on his social media.

One of his recent Bollywood inspired medley could not help but make the news. That is because he gave a hilariously epic EDM twist to Kishore Kumar’s Babu Samjho Ishare. To promote his latest single Enzo featuring American rappers 21 Savage, Sheck Wes, Gucci Mane, and Offset the Let Me Love You producer gave Kishore Kumar’s 1958 classic track Babu Samjho Ishare an EDM spin.

The clip, from the movie Chalti Ka Nam Gadi, features the late singer-actor with his brothers Ashok Kumar and Anoop Kumar singing the song while driving. The clip has the visuals of the same song and audio of Enzo. Take a look at the incredible mix below.

This is not the very first time that the ‘Lean On’ music artist has dubbed an Indian music video with his song. Prior to Kishore’s Da’s classic, he shared a video of Hera Pheri’s Dene Wala Jab Bhi Deta. He replaced the audio with his latest single. All three stars, Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, and Suniel Shetty, look hysterically funny grooving to the EDM number. Look at the epic clip below.

In another such clip, he posted a video of Tollywood’s superstar Nagarjuna. He reposted one of Dipraj Jadhav’s edits. Take a look at it below.

Isn’t this a cool way to promote new music in a country with loyal fandom? The ‘Taki Taki’ maker loves India and expressed it flamboyantly on social media.

“India is a special place to me. I filmed my video for Magenta Riddim here. It has a special place in my heart. The fans, culture, music — I love everything about the country. My fans in India are so loyal.”

His love for our country is evident on his several posts. And, we hope that he keeps coming back for his mind-shattering performances and we all get to have all the epic fun again and again.
