Deadmau5 collabs with Manticore Games “When the Summer Dies” music video

After the song’s official release, Joel Zimmerman (deadmau5) asked his audience to come up with new ideas on multiple new themed dystopian worlds. By using amazing Manticore Games ‘interactive design platform Core that is to be used for a live stream as a backdrop. The amazing efforts made by the content creators on Core really impressed the artist and his music management so much that they created an official music video from all of them, which was officially released on September 30, 2021.

Deadmau5 collabs with Manticore Games

Out of the 130 submissions received in total, many of the content creators have little to no prior experience, which implies the great efficiency of the game and visual designing platforms like Core, inspiring many artists out there and giving them unique career opportunities in this field.

Joel Zimmerman (deadmau5) adds further:

“I’ve been experimenting with the confluence of music and tech for a long time, and now with games, I’m able to take it to a whole other level. Typically, it takes months and hundreds of thousands, or even millions, of dollars to make a music video. In this case, we were able to pull together a video with stunning 3D worlds in just a couple of months by crowdsourcing the creation to the Core community and deadmau5 fans. The quality of the interactive experiences and the speed with which they were made was unbelievable and demonstrates why more artists are seeking out unique opportunities inside of games to extend new experiences to their audiences.”

Following the amazing success of all the times where legendary producer deadmau5 has collaborated with Manticore, deadmau5 is ready to start his music hub, which will be called as Oberhasli on 14 October 2021. A new virtual world is going to be created and designed in the Core Metaverse. In the meantime, check out the official music video for “When the Summer Dies” below –
