BTS’ Jimin and Suga reveal hopeful plans for group reunion in 2025

Jimin and Suga from BTS express optimism about the potential reunion of their K-pop group in 2025. During Jimin’s appearance on Suga’s “Suchwita” drinking chat show, the two discussed the group’s future plans. Suga welcomed Jimin to the chat show and praised him for his previous Weverse live session.

Currently, BTS is on hiatus, and the members prioritize their solo projects.

In a 36-minute video that can be found on YouTube and Weverse, Jimin and Suga shared details about their careers and revealed the exciting possibility of BTS reuniting in 2025.

As they sipped on Korean liquor “Soju,” Jimin expressed his eagerness for the group’s reunion in 2025, saying that he was excited to be reunited with all the members. Suga agreed with Jimin and said they would come together after their solo projects and album releases.

During the show, Jimin and Suga delved into the details of Jimin’s successful solo album, which put significant pressure on them. They also discussed the importance of individual artistic growth, creating solo albums, and being part of the BTS group.

As the show drew close, Suga asked Jimin to share what BTS means to him. Jimin struggled to find the words but eventually settled on “family.” Suga expanded on Jimin’s response by calling BTS “families of different blood.”

Meanwhile, Jimin recently released his solo album, Face, which created a sales record for most copies sold within 24 hours of its release. Jimin has also become the first Korean soloist to exceed 100 million cumulative streams on Spotify.

Jin, the oldest member of BTS, has become the first member of the group to commence his compulsory military service. Jin is currently serving mandatory military service in Korea. While Jin serves his time in military, V, Suga, RM, Jimin, Jungkook, and J-Hope will continue with their individual projects, as they will also eventually take turns fulfilling their military obligations. J-Hope will soon be joining Jin in military enlistment.
