Beyonce is set to make her return after a gap of six years, with a new album titled ‘Renaissance’ scheduled for a release at the end of July this year.
Beyonce’s latest Twitter bio reads “act I Renaissance 7.29,” which has excited her frenzied fans, who took to social media to express their happiness.
Music streaming giants Spotify announced the album’s release date via a tweet.
“The countdown has officially begun. Beyonce’s back July 29 #RENAISSANCE,” the tweet by the official Spotify Twitter handle.
The 40-year-old singer had last surprised fans in 2016 with her studio album ‘Lemonade.’
According to the fan theory, Renaissance may comprise 16 songs. The Grammy award winner’s website has a box set for sale that includes a t-shirt and a 28-page photo booklet.
British Vogue editor-in-chief Edward Enninful seems to have grabbed an opportunity to hear a bit of the album.
“Music that makes you rise, that turns your mind to cultures and subcultures, to our people past and present, music that will unite so many on the dance floor, music that touches your soul,” he said.
