As the ‘Pran Pratistha’ ceremony begins in Ayodhya Ram Mandir, marking the consecration of the idol of Lord Ram, a spiritual environment surrounds the holy city. Commencing with religious rituals, the seven-day ceremony is a culmination of devoted practices, led by eleven priests invoking various deities. Scheduled to conclude on January 22, the ceremony will witness the presence of Prime Minister Modi, who will address the gathering of around 8,000 guests. The sanctum sanctorum will be accessible to only a select few, adding an air of exclusivity to this sacred event. ‘Prayaschita’ and ‘Karmamukti Poojan’ took place on January 16. The remaining rituals like ‘Teerth Poojan’, ‘Jal Yatra’, and ‘Gandhadhivas’ will take place in the upcoming days.
