Maha Shivratri Songs: A Special Bhajan Playlist

Maha Shivratri, derived from the Sanskrit words “Mahā” meaning great, “Shiva” referring to the deity, and “ratri” meaning night, is an annual Hindu festival held in reverence of Lord Shiva. Celebrated between February and March, Maha Shivratri holds significant spiritual importance in Hindu culture. According to the Hindu lunar calendar, this auspicious festival occurs on the fourteenth day of the dark (waning) phase of the lunar month of Phalguna or Magha.
