On 12th September 2025, the Chinmaya Mission Auditorium in Delhi turned into a haven of music and remembrance as Meghnaa Mital, fondly known as the “singing lawyer,” launched her third ghazal album, Raaz-e-Ulfat.
A Soulful Evening of Music and Remembrance
The event, hosted by Satyanjali Trust, opened with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp. The venue’s white floral décor reflected serenity, perfectly complementing the evening of soulful ghazals. Hosting was gracefully managed by Devi, who set a warm and engaging tone.
In a touching gesture, a special token of appreciation was presented to a law student who, despite hardships, continues her education while working part-time in a canteen—symbolizing determination and resilience.
Presence of Paralympic and Special Olympic Players
The evening was further graced by the presence of Paralympic and Special Olympic players, whose journeys of strength and inspiration beautifully resonated with the Trust’s mission of supporting exceptional talent.
Launch of a New Anthem for Para 2025
In line with this vision, Meghnaa also introduced a powerful anthem, “Tu Jeet Jeet, Har Khel Khel,” dedicated to the upcoming 2025 World Para Athletics Championships (26 Sept–5 Oct, 2025).
- Music Composer: Daniel B. George
- Lyricist: Anu Singh
- Vocals: Meghnaa Mital
“Tu Jeet Jeet, Har Khel Khel isn’t just a song. It’s India’s heartbeat at Para 2025. It’s our cheer for every athlete. Every medal. Every story,” Meghnaa shared.
Powered by song, strengthened by support, and lifted by spirit—this anthem embodies Satyanjali Trust’s mission for 2025–26. With the call to #WinTheGame, Meghnaa urged the audience to raise their voices and cheer for India’s champions.
Meghnaa’s Gratitude and Dedication
Taking the stage, Meghnaa expressed deep gratitude to her Guru, Ms. Vidhi Sharma, the composer and music director of Raaz-e-Ulfat. She also highlighted the Trust’s vision of uplifting para-athletes, special Olympic athletes, and individuals with artistic and cultural talent.
The first ghazal of the album, “Andhere Raaston Mein Yun,” was then unveiled. Though poetic in its love-laden tone, Meghnaa revealed it as a deeply personal tribute to the memories of her late parents—Mr. Satya Prakash Mittal and Prof. Anjali Mittal.
An Album Unfolding Over Time
Importantly, Meghnaa announced that Raaz-e-Ulfat is a journey, not just a one-time release. The album comprises several ghazals, which will be unveiled gradually. “Andhere Raaston Mein Yun” is only the beginning, with more soulful tracks to release in the coming months.
Music That Resonated Deeply
The evening carried forward with Meghnaa performing ghazal masterpieces, accompanied by a talented team of instrumentalists. Each performance was steeped in emotion, with one highlight being the verses:
“Meri khwahishon ki aas mein
Ek aas Tum ho
Tum kya ho mere, Kuch ho bhi ya nahi
Meri Zindagi ke Kaash mein
Ek Kaash Tum bhi ho”
The union of poetic lyrics, stirring melodies, and heartfelt delivery transformed the event into more than an album launch—it became an immersive celebration of tradition, resilience, and love.
Closing Note
By the end of the evening, it was clear that Raaz-e-Ulfat will live on not only as a collection of ghazals but as a musical legacy unfolding with time, carrying blessings, memories, and inspiration.
