IIT (BHU), Varanasi, is delighted to announce that its annual socio-cultural fest, Kashiyatra 2023, will be held from 20th to 22nd January 2023.

IIT (BHU) Varanasi resides amidst the sanctity of Asia’s biggest residential university, Banaras Hindu University. Established in 1919, its legacy of more than a centenary only adds to the glory of Kashiyatra. Organized in the hallowed grounds of Varanasi – nominated as the first-ever SCO Tourism and Cultural Capital for 2022-2023, Kashiyatra promotes different cultural traditions and aspects from around the globe.

Kashiyatra is the annual socio-cultural fest of IIT (BHU) Varanasi, which presents a fresh outlook with its enchanting literary, musical, and artistic events. It is the largest North Indian cultural festival.

Over the years, Kashiyatra has been a massive success with an overwhelming outreach from all over the world. Initiated in 1981, Kashiyatra has provided a podium for various artists and performers to echo over the last 40 glorious years and has set new quality benchmarks.

In the previous editions of Kashiyatra, we have witnessed performances of artists like Ritviz, The Local Train, Uneven, KK, Saleem Sulaiman, Amit Trivedi, Zakir Khan, Aakash Gupta, and many more. Kashiyatra will be hosting its 40th edition, a three-day fiesta with more than 60 events and attendees crossing 75,000.

Raftaar is an icon in the film and independent music industry with fans worldwide. Take advantage of the opportunity to experience one of the most electrifying performances of the year at Kashiyatra 2023.

Raftaar is known for his high-energy performances and ability to connect with the crowd. He will keep you entertained and on your feet all night long. Some of his bangers like “Marvake Manegi,” “Ghana Kasoota,” and “All Black” would be setting the stage on fire.

Kashiyatra caters to students from many colleges across the country through magnificent competitions and provides exposure to an unending list of international artists.
