Sunburn Klassique 2019 – A Nostalgic Homecoming

Sunburn is no stranger to putting up a stellar show, right from the time it first hit Goa. It was the legendary Sunburn that introduced the concept of Dance Music in India. Within 12 years, it has come a long way and has always brought an unusual flavor, to the forefront of the musical experience.

Sunburn has seen the likes of international EDM talent including Armin Van Burren, Afrojack, Axwell Ingrosso, Avicii, Above & Beyond, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, David Guetta, Yellow Claw, DJ Snake, Malaa, Don Diablo, Alan Walker, KSHMR, Krewella, Martin Garrix, Swedish House Mafia, and many more. The festival of Sunburn is an amalgamation of music, entertainment, food, and shopping, and was ranked by CNN in 2009 as the 9th Best Festival in the world.

Percept Live, the wholly owned subsidiary of Percept Ltd., has announced their collaboration with Klassique to co-promote all the Sunburn events that will take place in the state. Under this alliance, the first event is going to take place from 23rd February 2019 to 24th February 2019. Also, Shailesh Shetty is going to represent it. “Sunburn Klassique will be a sleeker and small version of Sunburn Goa,” said Harindra Singh, chief managing director of Percept Limited, in an interview.

This time, the concert will not be commercial but more focused on emotions. The artist line-up too will echo the feeling of nostalgia. You will witness, artists who are iconic and reflective of the earlier days of Sunburn, Goa.

CONCEPT

Though the hosts of Sunburn Klassique will be entirely different from the rest of the Sunburn festivals, the look and feel, also the vibes, will be a memoir of the old times. The EDM fanatics missed the original Goa Sunburn that was cooler, more intimate, more emotions, experiences, pre-post parties, shacks, local food, flavors and much more. It aims to bring back the old essence.

Sunburn Klassique will represent what Sunburn stands for – a colossal, open, collaborative, engaging platform for the Youth of India to connect, engage, and just be themselves. It serves as a platform that encourages a ‘Healthy Social’ Experience. At Sunburn, you can camp out with friends, play games on the beach, listen to great music, dance, relax, or just read a book. Sunburn Klassique is your chance to meet like-minded people, chat, connect, have a great time, and make new life long friends. Because, at times, living your life is as important as work.
