AIIMS Pulse started in the year 1973. Pulse is a socio-cultural, literary, and sports fest organized by the AIIMS Students’ Union every year. With a participation of 700 colleges pan-India in 200 events. It has a footfall of over 60k visitors, making it the most significant event in medical fraternity of India. AIIMS Pulse assures all its attendees the best seven days of their lives. 

PULSE has witnessed the groove of mostly all notable celebs. The live night has been ruled by Badshah, Neha Kakkar, Farhan Akhtar, Sonu Nigam, Mohit Chauhan, Vishal & Shekhar, Armaan Malik, Papon and several others. The festival is filled with passion, spirit, and talent, much like our capital itself.

Insomnia, IISER

Gateway to a dreamy reality, Insomnia, the annual cultural festival of IISER, Mohali.

This fest is a panorama of music, dance, art, drama, literature, quizzing, and gaming with a footfall of 10,000-12,000 every year. Since its kick-off in 2013, it has been one of the biggest and most awaited fests of Chandigarh Tricity.

The fest concluded with a rock concert, CRESCENDO, in which rock-bands from different colleges participated, marking the grand-finale of a fantastic and successful fest every year.

Renaissance, Kirori Mal College

Renaissance, the annual cultural fest of Kirori Mal College, rubs its shoulders with other DU cultural fests in being one of the most sought-after. It is known for being one of the best in North Campus, Delhi University. With the chief attraction being the live concert by famous celebrities, like KK, a KM alumnus.

While the annual college fest is the high profile affair, the annual fests for the dramatics and music societies are also crowd pullers. The college auditorium has seen grander days, the dramatics society, The Players. They hold their stage play public performance, where both students and non-students from all over the city throng to watch the society’s annual stage productions.

The Players also has an active street play wing and it has its own non-competitive fest, ‘Sar-e-Aam’ inside the college. The annual fest of Music, ‘Surmanjari’, is also famous for its display of creativity and talent. KMC is also the only college to have an annual fest for its gender forum, Parivartan, called ‘Nazariya’ which was graced by a performance by the contemporary theatre artists.

Moksha, NSUT

Netaji Subhas University of Technology (formerly NSIT) has been organizing its annual cultural fest Moksha since 2003, March.

One of the most significant cultural festivals of North India, Moksha has exceeded the expectations every time with its splendor and enthusiasm.

Over the past 15 years, Moksha has witnessed leading artists from the music industry perform in the NSUT campus. The lineup of celebrities has included Akcent, Edward Maya, Mohit Chauhan, Kailash Kher, KK, Sachin-Jigar, the Sunburn Campus, Strings, Javed Ali & Bohemia, with the highlight of Moksha, being the humor fest by TheViralFever (TVF).

The three-day extravaganza is full of contagious excitement, vibrant colors, and liveliness. The fest has witnessed an average footfall of over 25000 people every year, and a lineup of around 150 engaging events.

Sentience-NIT, Delhi

Sentience, the Techno-Cultural fest of NIT Delhi is stepping into its glorifying first year as a synthesis of all that NIT Delhi has to offer.

Pilani is a small town situated in the Shekhawati district of Rajasthan. It happens to house India no. 6 post-graduate engineering college BITS-Pilani.

This esteemed college is one among the 6 Indian ‘Institutes of Eminence’ recognized by the Government of India in 2018.

Waves are the annual cultural festival of BITS Pilani, K K Birla Goa Campus.

It is a three-day-long festival held in the late October – early November period. This cultural festival, held annually, celebrates music, dance, and art.

This inter-college festival has students coming in to participate in events and competitions from across the country.

Kshitij, Mithibai College Mumbai

‘Kshitij’ is the annual fest of Mithibai College, Mumbai. Kshitij’ has over 60 events in the field of Literary Arts, Fine Arts, Performing Arts, Management, Informals, Gaming and Sports, Photography and Film Fest.

Rendezvous, famously known as RDV is the Annual Cultural Festival of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Delhi.

It is a four-day-long event held in October every year. Rdv hosted 225 events and had a footfall of over 70,000, 13,000+ participants and 170+ artists from more than 20 countries every year.

Competitive Events, Professional Nights, Workshops, Kickstart, RDV Village, Confluence, etc. are the different attractions of Rendezvous. Confluence, a musical blend of cultures from all over the world, dished out some beautiful and sonorous music that kept the audience glued to their seats.

Salim-Suleman, Kailash Kher, Zakhir Khan, Hardy Sandhu, Diljeet Dosanjh, Vishal-Shekhar, Farhan Akhtar, Nina Suerte, are some of the celebrity who had rocked the event. Lady Shri Ram College’s annual cultural fest, Tarang, was the first inter-college fest organized in the University of Delhi.

 

LSR brings warmth with its cultural extravaganza promising to be bigger and better each following year – with more events, people, and enchanting musical nights. With competitions ranging across dance, music, theatre, film and photography, quiz, creative writing, elocution, and debate amongst several others, LSR Tarang promises to continue creating waves in the Delhi college fest circuit. All events are a blend of conventional and unconventional talent sets. LSR Tarang attempts to cater to a diverse field of interest.

It is assumed that LSR Tarang deters from hosting notable names in the Indian film fraternity given to insane crowd-management and coordination issues. They believe in the promotion of homegrown talent and considerably lesser-known artists. A line-up of home-brewed, as well as international artists, reinstate that LSR is undoubtedly a frontrunner in Delhi University not only in the field of education but also in entertainment. They deliver to its attendees, three days of epic fun, lip-smacking food, an array of creative events, and a once in a lifetime experience. The organizers raise the bar to an all-new horizon every year in a spirit to outdo the prior fests.

The annual fest of Hansraj college — Confluence is much more than the concert, mayhem created by the crowd. The four-day event had all the makings of a hit fest — dance, drama and masti.

Out of the various competitions held in the college grounds, two that always got the crowd applauding are the street play and the choreography competition. The dramatization of social issues like child sexual abuse, dowry and gender issues had everyone gripped to the show.

The incident is the second-largest cultural festival in South India. It is now a permanent mark on the calendar, during the months of February – March and attracts over 25000 footfalls every year. This huge ingress is justified, as Incident or ‘Inci’ is replete with a mind-boggling array of things to do and see. It has featured amazing performances by artistes of caliber like KK, Kunal Ganjawala, Sunidhi Chauhan, Javed Ali, and Salim-Sulaiman, as well as bands such as Indian Ocean, Motherjane, Swarathma, and Led Zeppelin. International performing artists like Roy Zaltsman and The Turbans have also performed at incident in the World Fest, held for the first time in 2014.

There are events to participate in – Haute Couture, Promenade, Slam Dunk, Centre Stage, Bandish… to name a few. There are workshops for those who want to learn, quizzes for those who already know it all and Crossfade -the DJ night- for the party freaks. And of course, there is always the beach inviting you to relax or frolic with friends or even go parasailing, if you are adventurous. Now that’s something you don’t find everywhere.  The incident is a terrific carnival, something no one would want to miss because when it comes to Incident, there is something in it for everybody.

EMBLAZON is a two-day extravaganza; a celebration of sorts; a dense, fun-filled embodiment of the energy and conviviality which characterizes college life; a festival oozing with fun, vibrancy, and entertainment. It is a product of dreams ambition and tireless hard work, a true testimony to the indomitable spirit, liveliness and sheer energy of the youth. Emblazon ’10,’13,’14, ’15, ’16, ’17,18’,19′ had been a huge success with enormous participation from various colleges of IP University as well as other colleges from Delhi and NCR.

There is total of 23 events with 2 special events just for the faculty members. Fun events like Minute to Win it, Selfie Contest, Outfit of the Day, Treasure Hunt, etc were a part of the 2 days extravaganza.

With the aim of transforming our campus into realms of legendary themes and the enthusiasm of everyone involved in the fest, Odyssey’18 set out to be the most memorable one yet.

With successful events, an energetic crowd and stellar performances by some of the best artists of this country, these 2 days turned out to be an
amazing experience for everyone present. Kudos to the hard work and dedication of the large team of students who worked tirelessly day and night for over four months to make Odyssey a huge success. The IIITD family went through immense pressure to get the work done on time, but needless to say, the success of Odyssey made every little bit of hard work well worth it.

Tatva-Lal Bahadur Institute of Management, Delhi

TATVA is the Annual Business and Cultural Fest of Lal Bahadur Shastri Institute of Management. Over the years, it has been one of its kind events with a blend of unique personalities like Padmashree Shovana Narayana, His Excellency – Mr. Augusto Montiel, Nikhil D’Souza, Sapan Verma, 
Jeeveshu Ahluwalia and DJ Ruddy.

It witnesses around 2500 students from B-schools of over 6 cities in the span of two days. It is the platform to outcast the talent in various cultural events like dance,
music, drama, and fashion along with the use of wit and knowledge in various management events ranging
from marketing, a resource, operations to finance and hum stock market.
We are initiating Sports Fest from this year which will increase the footfall by 1000 and includes sports like Basketball,

Music and fashion ruled Rhapsody, the annual fest of Delhi University’s Maitreyi College. The two-day fest is a fun-filled affair. Competitions such as rangoli-making, western music, and Indian dance saw a large number of participants.

The highlight of the fest proved to be the fashion show, which turned out to be a big hit with the students every year. Colleges such as Kalindi College, Delhi College of Arts and Commerce (DCAC), Shivaji College, and Maitreyi College took part in the show regularly.

The Venue of the fest is in the Sports Ground, Ramjas College which can accommodate 60,000 of students during the festival. However, the adventurous sports, food carts and the game are placed in the other lawns and Grounds. This makes MOSAIC as one of the most awaited fests of Delhi University.

Malhar is hosted annually by the students of St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. The Mascot for Malhar is a frog which is called Puddles.

Malhar began in 1979. The festival includes events cultural contests in literary, performing arts and fine arts categories, along with a number of workshops on different themes.

The festival is completely managed, organized and run by the workforce which consists of 1200 volunteers and 130 people in the organizing committee.

Anwesha is an annual technocultural festival of Indian Institute of Technology Patna. It is a three-day-long event usually held towards the end of January every year.[

The fest hosts technical, cultural, literary, ecological and management events. The first edition of Anwesha took place in 2008. It draws a footfall of about 35,000 from more than 200 colleges across the country.[

Management events such as Stock Mart, B-quiz, Vendre and ecological events like Eco-debate, Green quiz give participants ample scope to showcase their talents. Anwesha enjoys a cult status among the youths of Bihar. Eminent personalities such as chief minister Nitish Kumar, Padma Vibhushan, G.
