Counted in one of the best DU fests, it has set a benchmark for other college festivals. Over a period of 52 years, Reverie fest has given us an amalgamation of memories and experiences. With a footfall of around 12,000 to 15,000 visitors every year, Gargi’s student council makes sure that they put up a great show at their annual gala. And, they have always received a heads up!

With an illuminating range of alumni like Sanya Malhotra, Urvashi Rautela, Huma Qureshi, Sonal Chauhan, who have all attended different seasons of Reverie, it has also seen the attendance of Kanan Gill, Ratna Pathak Shah, Lillete Dubey, Soni Razdan, Progressive Brothers, Anushka Manchanda, Shalmali Kholgade, and the list is never-ending.

Reverie gives us the most whimsical experience with an amazing line-up of music artists, competitions and memories.

THEME

Reverie Gargi college fest comes up with a fascinating theme every year. In Reverie 2020, the theme was La expresión: Hues of Euphoria. A theme through which they shared the power of expression. In year 2019, the theme was ‘A Brave New World: A ode to diversity’. It inferred the new and hopeful era of changes along with diversity in terms of art, literature, music, and society. ‘A brave new world; an ode to Diversity’ is based on 3 C’s- Consent, Choice, and Conservation. These cover broad topics like LGBTQ empowerment, sexual harassment, female empowerment, equality, wildlife preservation, and protection. Individually, these are significant and necessary issues of today’s world; but interlacing all of them together as a theme for one of the largest annual cultural fests of Delhi University brings down its gusto.
