Introduction
Engifest, the annual cultural festival of Delhi Technological University (formerly Delhi College of Engineering) is a 3-day cultural event that is held in the month of February. The festival attracts an attendance of more than 80,000 people from across the country. Students from more than 100 colleges participate in activities related to social problems, dance, music, quizzes, and several others.
Engifest, also known as Engineers’ fest, was started in 1974 by a bunch of DCEians to celebrate the youth and its success. Boasting of being one among the largest festivals in the country like Mood Indigo – IIT Mumbai, Antaragini – IIT Kanpur, Rendezvous – IIT Delhi, Engifest has made for itself, a popular place in the list.

- Campus Princess – Miss India Organization
Camus Princess is a fashion event which acts as the preliminary round for Femina Miss India. 20 shortlisted contestants walk the ramp and are further shortlisted to the final round. The event has been judged by names like Aditi Arya, Miss India World 2015, Pankhuri Gidwani, one of the runners-up of Miss India 2016, etc. The event takes place at the main-stage before the pro-nites.
- Do Re Mi Pa – A Musical Extravaganza
This event is by Madhurima, the music society of DTU. The event hosts competitions from multiple genres like:
- Vocalicious – Western solo singing competition
- Balladeers – Western group singing competition
- Vrind – Indian Group Singing
- Engi Idol -Indian solo singing competition.
Do Re Mi Pa hosts other events like Acoustic Alchemy(Unplugged band competition),Two’s a show(Duet competition) apart from the above mentioned competitions.
- Spandan – The Western Dance Competition
This event is hosted by the dance society of DTU, Vibe. This full-of-adrenaline’ event has western solo and group dance competitions. The events attract dance groups from colleges of IIT, NIT, DU, IP, etc. and displays a spectacular attendance.
- Kaleidoscope – Film Festival
Kaleidoscope is a film-making event hosted by the film and photography club, Parchhayi. The event demands filmmakers to render a short clip with a meaning behind it. The prizes are absolutely amazing. The event has been judged by prominent names in the film industry.
- The Engi Quiz
This event is hosted by the Quiz club of the college and is a perfect platform to test a person’s General Knowledge. The event includes 9 preliminary rounds, leading to a final decisive round.
- Nukkad and Natya
Hosted by Pratibimb, the dramatics society of DTU, this segment is known to attract the highest eyes. Street plays highlighting social problems with praise-worthy acting skills and strong voices, the event displays breathtaking and goosebumps-giving emotions by the college students.
- Groovenexus
Started by a DCE alumnus, this event rose first in the 2018 edition of Engifest. It hosts a DJ event with music playing from 9 AM until the pro-nites. The event promotes underrated artists and provides a platform to showcase their talent. GrooveNexus gained popularity on the day it was first hosted and has been in huge demand among the college students.

Day 1, the Livewire was headlined by Amit Trivedi.
The viral comedian Abijit Ganguly performed before the final act at B.R. Ambedkar auditorium.
Day 2, the Rock night was replaced by Punjabi night for the first time and was headlined by the punjabi sensation Guri.
Day 3, the EDM night was headlined by the DJ Mag #33 duo Bassjackers along with Rave&Crave.

Day 1, the Livewire was headlined by Sunidhi Chauhan, with a special Israeli band Shtuby Drum & Red, who played just before the final act.
Day 2, the Rock night was headlined by Lagori.
Day 3, the EDM night was headlined by Nucleya along with Rave&Crave. The 3rd day had the sensational poet Piyush Mishra perform at the Open Air Theatre.
