Pop sensation Selena Gomez has confirmed that she is working on a new album.
“I am in LA working on my album now,” Selena Gomez said during an episode of Deadline’s Crew Call podcast.
The new album, which the singer says she’s working on, would be her first in two years since the release of Rare in 2020. Rare peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
Selena also revealed that she’s open to tours, but that’s not on her priority list.
“I’m open to a tour, one thousand percent, but I obviously have obligations and things I wanna do, so when the time’s right… It’s not the top of my priority list.”
The 29-year-old singer, who plays Mabel in the TV sitcom ‘Only Murders In The Building,’ said she is not opposed to a musical episode in the show. Selena stars alongside Steve Martin and Martin Short in Only Murders In The Building.
“Steve and I are hesitant because I wanna be careful. I love Mabel, and I love that she is an extension of me, so sometimes my worry is that it might turn into a pop-star thing, and that’s clearly not Mabel… (But) I’m not opposed (to it),” she said.
