Rohit Pandey BIO -An Emerging New Talent

Rohit Pandey is an Indian singer and an upcoming male vocalist. He was born in Kanpur Nagar to parents Anup and Varchaswini. His father, Anup Kumar Pandey, is a serviceman and an active member of social clubs in Lucknow and his mother, Varchaswini Pandey, is a school teacher and a homemaker.  

Rohit showed an inclination towards music at a tender age of 8 years as he was inspired by his grandmother’s love for singing. He did his schooling up to 7th grade from Dr.Virendra Swaroop Education Centre, Kanpur Nagar. Thereafter, he continued his schooling at Central Academy Senior Secondary School, Lucknow. He completed his Diploma in Pharmacy in 2020 from Doon Paramedical College & Hospital, Saharanpur, Uttar Pradesh.  

By the age of 14, Rohit became a well-known singer in his hometown of Kanpur and he also performed live at many events held in Lajpat Bhawan, Kanpur. He participated in a show called ‘ Who Is The Best’ which got aired on the local city channel in which he finished up being the runner up of the show. He began singing from class 3^rd and won many awards while he was still in school.  

Malvika Das is his Guru, who is a music teacher at his school. She was the one who made him realize his talent helped him polish his craft so that he could reach great heights. Later in 2011 he moved to Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh with his parents and his younger sister. After going to Lucknow, he was away from music till 5 years. Then after completing his schooling, he restarted pursuing music and became the vocalist of a band named Arrow Heads in 2018. He performed in various college fests and also have participated in band wars and earned lots of recognition and acknowledgment while he was a part of the band. He later performed in weddings and also have been a part of many live jamming sessions. 

Career & Discography 

• In 2009, Rohit participated in the television music reality show Who Is The Best where he finished up being the runner up of the show.  
• Rohit made his debut in the Indian Music Community with the song “Pyaar Aa Raha Hai” (an original number) under the label of Yellow & Red Music alongside support of Arrow Heads band team. 
• He also got aired live in Bharat Samachar news channel in 2018 with his band Arrow Heads on occasion of Holi. 
• He got aired in ABC television channel for his vocal performance. 
• In January, 2020 he became a verified artist on Spotify with the release of a cover track named Tera Zikr Rap. 
• He, along with KingAP (a known rapper and song writer from Lucknow) and DJ Traxeon (a well-known music producer & Dj) created many cover songs and original tracks too. 
• He recently has been a part of KingAP’s Debut album 2k16 as a singer which got released on 24t^h August 2021 under the label of GrooveNexus Records on various platforms.
