Ritviz Srivastava was born in Darbhanga, Bihar, on June 19, 1998. He is currently employed in the Maharashtra city of Pune. He has always been interested in music and rhythm because his mother is a classical soprano and his father is a trade finance manager who also plays the tabla. As a result, he grew up in a musical family.  Pandit Uday Bhawalkar, an Indian artist who is devoted to the Dhrupad genre, taught him classical music at the age of six. His Guru and family praised him for his first song when he was ten years old. Ten years ago, his family and Guru praised him for his first song. When he was 15 years old, he dreamed of becoming a musician.  After dropping out of school, he began working on music at the age of 17. He was introduced to western and hip hop music as an adolescent through the VH1 channel, an American cable network. Gradually, he began incorporating hip hop and pop music into his classically based songs. He released his debut single, “Vongizdumb EP,” in 2014. Later, he obtained a deal with High Chai Recordings, a Global Bass Music Label located in the United States, which published his song “Mukti” on their label. Following his global feature, he joined the artist management organization, Only Much Louder (OML).

He rose to stardom after taking part in the Bacardi House Party session in 2018. His debut song’s sudden popularity pushed him to do even better. “I cannot compose music only for the sake of doing music,” he remarked in an interview with The Hindu. My music comes to me naturally. The day I become concerned about making hits and adhering to a specific structure is the day I will not be true to myself.” His popular “Udd Gaye” song, which has become a party staple, was included in AIB’s music video with Nucleya. His debut album, DEV, was published in 2019. He has worked with well-known musicians like as Major Lazer, Nyla, Fuse ODG, and Lauv. He wrote music for the Netflix web series “Mismatched.” On Spotify, a popular music streaming service, he has 18,42,760 monthly listeners. Liggi, Udd Gaye, Sage, Chalo Chalein, and Pran are his top five hot songs. He was awarded a Gold YouTube Play Button for exceeding one million subscribers on the video streaming site YouTube.

He likes to cook, travel, and listen to music. He wrote his first song when he was ten years old. During his adolescence, he was exposed to western music via the VH1 channel. He was so affected by music that he began incorporating hip hop and pop music into his classical compositions. In 2019, he remixed one of Major Lazor’s tracks, ‘Light It Up.’ He adores dogs and has one as a pet. He is holding a scooter and fondly refers to it as ‘Babbuaa.’

Ritviz is a singer-songwriter and record producer from India. He is number 21 on the Forbes 30 Under 30 list. He rose to prominence in 2018 with his song Udd Gaye. He is trained in classical music and enjoys EDM and Hip Hop. He has been on the digital covers of publications such as Grazia and Cool List 2021.
